Keep It Simple

Today, as I went to post my simple looking but delicious smoothie on Instagram, I realized something: a lottttt of people who are scrolling through social media for healthy ideas, recipes, or tips MUST be overwhelmed. From the professional looking photos, to the lattes with 80 adaptogens in them, to the edible flowers and animals on meals (I'm not not kidding)- it is easy to get lost and honestly a little downtrodden.

For that reason, I wanted to give a quick reminder that keeping it simple is a GREAT option (particularly when first starting out on your "health journey")! If right now you are trying to incorporate more veggies into your diet, do that. If you want to flirt with putting some superfood powder into your morning smoothie, do that. If you are a seasoned vet in the wellness space and own ashwaganda, maca, camu camu, spirulina, coconut butter, and chlorella and want to put ALL of those into your morning brew... do that! Whatever is easy and healthy and delicious to you-do that.

Frozen banana, spinach, Ora Organic "Easy Being Green" powder (perfect and easy way to sneak in greens), blueberries, and almond milk. BAM. And for the record-it tastes way better than it appears...

Now- don't get me wrong- there are benefits to having variety in your diet and incorporating "superfoods"! I myself often have salads packed with antioxidants and healthy fats and kale. Then, other times, I have a simple (yet classic) pb&j...and that is more than okay. You can totally be healthy with what you can afford, what you know how to make, and in the allotted time frame you have.

So, all in all, I just wanted to tell you that YOU GOT DIS. Wherever you are on your journey, you've got this. Make small changes. Test what you like and don't like. Buy one new product at a time if you want. Do what works for you, and-most importantly- do what brings you joy and makes you excited to eat.

As always, if you need any help on anything or have questions just shoot me an email and we can chat!
